Beginning Monday, August 10 at noon, Lake County will begin accepting applications for the Coronavirus Relief Fund Housing Assistance Program. The program, funded by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, will provide assistance for past due rent, mortgage and utilities.

Lake County to allocate CARES Act grant funding to Lake County Schools)
The Lake County Board of County Commissioners met today in a special meeting to identify opportunities to assist Lake County Schools with plans to reopen later this month. The Board voted unanimously to allocate $1.67 million of the County’s initial Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding to implement proactive measures to ensure a safe environment for students. The funding will provide for increased janitorial services, partitions, thermometers, and temperature scanners.

Kroger and Ocado will celebrate the official groundbreaking for the second U.S. high-tech customer fulfillment center and the introduction of Kroger and Ocado to the state of Florida.
