Lake County seeks road operations team members through walk-in interviews

LAKE COUNTY (May 9, 2025) — Lake County’s Road Operations Division invites job seekers to participate in walk-in interviews over the next two weeks to fill 17 essential positions that help maintain local roads and infrastructure.
Lake County has recently increased its pay rates, and pay now begins at $18.50 per hour for roles including Roads Maintenance Operator, Roads Equipment Operator Trainee, Roads Senior Equipment Operator, and Roads Team Leader. Interviews will be held at the Road Operations main office, located at 28598 Lady of the Lakes Avenue in Tavares, on the following days:
- Tuesday, May 13 and May 20 — 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, May 14 and May 21 — 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Thursday, May 15 and May 22 — 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
