Business Incubator Programs

Lake County’s Economic Development Department hosts a Business Incubator Program (BIP) within each of the three Business Opportunity Centers. The mission of each BIP is to provide a nurturing, professional environment for companies in the early stages of their development, so that they may grow, graduate and prosper.

Managed by either Lake-Sumter Community College (at the Northeast Lake County and South Lake County locations) or the University of Central Florida (at the Northwest Lake County location), each BIP offers a wide array of business resources and support services to any small, growth oriented business that meets the required eligibility criteria.

Some of the resources and services available to BIP clients include:
