Economic Development Coordinators

Lake County’s Economic Development Department is constantly striving to make Lake County the number one county to conduct business in Florida. To the dedicated staff in the office, being "Business Friendly" isn't just a catchy tagline, it is the genesis of every decision made and every program implemented. To truly become business friendly, the staff must always be cognizant of the needs of businesses. The most effective way to learn about area businesses is through solid relationship building. To this end, the office has divided Lake County into three geographic micro-regions, and assigned a dedicated Economic Development Coordinator to each region.

Each coordinator is tasked with being fully-engaged in their region's business community, which includes weekly site visits to meet with their region's businesses and business leaders. Through this on-going and daily interaction, the coordinators are able to cultivate and manage the type of relationships that are necessary to truly understand the needs of Lake County's businesses.
